I have a 2007 EL Limited and want to replace the 20" "chrome" wheels witch something else. I want something that gives it a wider footprint.
Something similar to what SOLISIMO has.

What wheel sizes will work? Do you need spacers or can you go with a wider rim with different offset?

What about the TPMS? Can it be moved to the new wheels? Is that a big deal?

I like the Expedition but the current wheels/tires just don't look right. They look disproportionately small relative to the vehicle.

Show me your pictures.

Thanks
Tony

so you want BIGGER rims...you can put 30's on there with no probs and still have full turn...i have 26z and have future plans of 28z...you dont need spacers...the widest you'll find rims unless u do custom made rims is 10" wide...standard 305 tire....i have 305/30/26 with +25 offset the "then" and "now" pics are with 24z

Sorry, I should have been clearer.
I'm thinking just wider, maybe 20x10 and looking for ideas.
Want to heep the overall height of the tire the same.
It's hard to visualize the look without seeing them on the vehicle.

Also wondering how much hassle or expense the TPMS will be.

Thanks
Tony

TPMS can be moved between wheels without a problem, or if you order wheels and tires, new sensors can come pre-installed (less than $200). New TPMS sensors would have to be programmed with the vehicle after installation, so there may be some cost there. Most tire shops should be able to do this for you if necessary.

order whatever rims you want in 20's...aftermarket are 9.5 or 10 in wide unless you go offraod where u can get 20x12...depending on the shop...you may or may not have to pay to swap bands...i didnt...others will charge to break down the old set to get them out and new set to to put them in...they break them down one at a time to keep them in position if you use the old ones...
