i was curious to know, is there a way of reducing the gap between the tires & the wheel well w/o buying new shocks & or lowering kit?

The only other way would be a taller tire. And that would require the speedo to be recalibrated.

Qban, like was mentioned, if you are not going ot drop the truck, then you can only buy a bigger wheel. Depending on the year of truck depends on how you recalibrate the speedo and how far you can go before you reach the limitation of the computer settings.

HMM?? you mite be able to get away with 2in drop on factory shocks? How many miles are on your shocks now? Since you are lowering It will handle better so I would get the new shocks and the Polyurethane front sway bar bushings

not sure how many miles are on them as i've only had the truck for about a month. the truck currently has 159K miles on it.

shocks are probly origional equipment, Until I lowered mine, swapped shocks and sway bar bushings it drove like a boat. Now it drives like a car

when i get her back from the shop, i'll see what shocks she's got on. how much did the springs run ya?
