Sorry Black, I'm not trying to hijack but I don't know how to add a photo in a private conversation. I'm looking for the right fender flares but haven't found anything I'm happy with. The front of the steps were shaved and the metal was beaten flat & sprayed with paint. I'm still getting a tiny bit of rub at suspension compression & half lock on the insulation only. Easily remedied with a razor blade. As you can see, the tire doesn't really extend that much away from the outermost part of the fenders.
I'm not keeping these tires on for tge city I'm just making sure I'm done with cutting what I need to.

No hijack.
Good info to go with the thread thanks.

Are you all rubbing because you are running 12.5 wide tires?
Would 11.5s be rubbing?

I'm rubbing that particular area because of the 35 the 12.5 AND the 0 offset (pushes the centerline of the wheel outward from stock by 44mm or 1.7 inches).Because I made so many changes vs stock it would take me too much effort & maths to figure out exactly what the rub a dub cause would be. When I spoke with stage 3, the largest tire they recommend with the 3" ready lift is 295/70r18 with the +1mm offset (outward from stock by 43mm) which translates to 34x12 and they were adamant about not using that tire size on the stock 44mm offset wheels as "those would rub elsewhere" and it's easier to trim a fender than steering/suspension components. I did a rough measure and I'm rubbing by about 3/8" to 1/2" deep of tread at the very outer corner of the tire. Based on what others were saying about stock rims, the largest would be a 275/65r20 or 34.1 x 10.8 before rubbing happens. Using this site https://tiresize.com/tiresizes/275-65R20.htm I couldn't find what a good equivalent 18" would be but they have a good 17" equivalent at 34 x 10.5

I am being given 33s so I presume I will not have a rubbing issue.
As much as I dislike strut spacers I have decided to run them in the rear only. Not sure I’ll be happy with just a 1” lift. So I’ll run a 2.5” spacer in the rear and the Bilsteins 5110 up front which will provide 2.5” of lift as well. Those coupled with BDS upper control arms should be decent enough for the time being to cover my needs.
