Looking for some insight on putting 20” F-150 wheel on my wife’s 2008 Exp.
Currently has 18”
What tire size will work? Ride difference? Have seen 275/55/20

My 2008 FMF came with 275/55/20s. It drove great - very nimble for its size and my combined gas mileage was in the 17-18 range. About 4 years ago, I went a little larger - 285/45/22. I think it looks great, but I noticed a slight decrease in gas mileage. Also handles different because of the additional weight, so I drive different to save gas and brake wear.83175.jpeg

I’ve had that size on my 2008 since I’ve had the expedition and they ride good. The reason I did 20’s and not 22’s is so that if I get a flat I can use the spare underneath.
