Hi everyone, I'm doing a little project with a microcontroller for my truck and would like to know where I can get an analog signal (0 to 5 volt) on a 2006 Navigator, which will probably be the same as an Expedition. Is there anywhere to get this data? Most cars around this era that I've worked on have a signal for this coming off the PCM somewhere but I cannot seem to find it on diagrams I have for this truck.

Is there anything else speed-related I might be able to tap into for a signal that would identify whether or not I'm at a highway speed? For example, if I had a way of knowing if the transmission was in 5th and 6th gear, that would work too. Thanks a bunch!!

I'm reaching here, but what about somewhere within the Cruise control? Maybe our wiring experts could join in with their schematics, and wisdom. I have neither at my disposal, well maybe a little wisdom!

On my '03 Expy it was the grey/black wire coming off the instrument cluster harness (grey with black trace...). That's what I used when I put in my Nav unit and it worked fine.
