Okay my expedition has to make this whistling sound with in about 5 minutes of it being started I am not a mechanic of any kind it's coming from the driver side when I go to accurate it cuts out but comes back once I reach the speed limits any ideas on what it could be?

Maybe somebody snuck a turbocharger into your engine bay...? Do you get any sudden acceleration after a moment of being on the gas!?!
In all seriousness though, do you have a check engine light on? Does it sound like a bad bearing? Does it change pitch with different RPM's?
