Who has Children

Was wondering who is taking advantage of the extra seating in Expedition! How many of you have Children? What makes your Vehicle great for Kids besides the spacious interior? Thanks for posting!!!

I have 2 boys and 1 girl.....and 5 Nephews! I love having the extra room! The interior is so easy to clean as well. The kids really enjoy riding in what they call a "Monster Truck"~~~

Got 2 girls. I love it that I can haul them + wifey around and still have 3 seats left in the back for friends, family, etc. My mom is staying with us for a few months to help with the baby and it's awesome that we can all go on roadtrips in the same car. That would be impossible in the Civic. The girls' car seats take almost the entire length of the back seat of the civic. There's like 10'' of space left in between their car sits :)
Ain't got that problem in the Expy ! :D

Have 2 girls, and when we travel each gets their own row. The DVD player helps too!
When the in-laws fly in, it's great to be able to load everyone into the Expy and go places. Also had the nieces in last year(+3) so carrying 7 total passengers isn't something you can do in a little 4 wheeler. Take advantage? ABSOLUTELY!

Agree 100% except for the fact that I have 2 boys.

I have two boys, 2 and 6. I also have one dog, one sister in law and my wife babysits. Then we take our neighbor's two kids every once in a while while he's at work. So yeah having the room is pretty good. We definitely utilize the space.

i have 18 and as of today 13 yr old kids...when its just the 4 of us...room is required to carry our luggage when we travel since we tend to stay for at least a week...more importantly...my wife likes ice cold drinks so the cooler goes in the back on trips...once we get to our destination...theres normally family there...so everyone piles in my truck versus every body taking their own cars unless we wont be returning...kids my son's age pile in when we go somewhere so they can be together...in-laws ride with us when they visit...NEEDED

My First Son is 7, Daughter 1, and Youngest Son 2 months old~~~ My daughter went with me when I test drove the Expedition. Though she is still pretty young she was giggling and seemed to enjoy it. I'm glad the children seem to like riding in it for the most part. My Son hated the color but loves having the 3rd row to himself! :)

one daughter - but even when just the three of us travel - every inch gets used. Also not uncommon for another family to just hop in with us on the weekends or my parents join us for dinner. I tried to downsize, but the boat (only about 4500 lbs) was too cloase to the limit for smaller SUVs, and also saw that even the durango or the flex (by the time you added the big motor) only got about one mile per gallon better. The decision was easy for me.

...PLUS...i have 2-12's in the back so thats a must...doesnt prohibit anything (groceries/luggage) due to my down firing box...now i have 2-12's (disconnected) and 18" sub in a ported box...

when my kids were younger...i'd pack the truck up and leave the little 3rd row split seat up and have my daughter sit back there when they used to fit all the time...so everyone remember that...split your kids up on each row...stops the fighting

Yes it does. On our trip to Chicago, one got one row and one got the other. Kinda like putting them in there own rooms
