considering very seriously a set of OE smoked tailights for my black truck.

who has them?

what degree of tint?

where did you get them?

please post some pix.

ALSO do the "04-"10 tailights accept "03-"06 sockets/connectors?

thanks

I have 2 light coats of Nite Shades. I'll try to post some (updated) pix later today.

I know someone on here has some where he tinted the tail, but taped off the reflectors, so it gives it a "striped" look.

i have the 07-10 taillights on my truck the brake light socket works but the reverse one doesn't you have to enlarge the hole in the reverse sections, but other then that they are a direct bolt on

and mine are tinted professionally with black paint mixed with clear, they look dark at times but when you seem then in the day you can still see some red i'll try and get some good pics when i wash the truck next weekend

tails.jpg

Tails: 2 coats of Nite Shades + 2-3 of clear.
3rd BL: 1 coat of Nite Shades + 3-4 of clear.

I did less on the 3rd brake light since it lets in less light, which makes it look "darker."

They are tinted. It's just the sun is hitting them.

Depending on the picture, they can look anything from this:

to this:

to this:

I didn't want anything black, just wanted a "deeper" red, if that makes sense.

It was stuff I put on them. Wouldn't completely come off when I tried to take it off, so I got new ones.

Looks better now :)
