Why won't it start.

Removed and charged my battery, now my 2001 Eddie Bauer Expedition will not start. Turning the key does nothing, not even a grunt. Now what do I do?

You have a bad battery, probably with one or more bad cells.

Yes it did.

On the gen 2 models it is easy to loose the main feed wire to the BCM. It runs behind the battery towards the firewall and can fall behind the plastic battery box. Can you post a picture of the battery cables?

These fusible links need to be checked for continuity.

All power runs through the fusible links. This schematic shows the connection to the Battery Junction Box. That is the wire that I had dropped down beside the battery, my car seemed dead also.

I’m glad I got directed to this conversation.. I’m definitely checking this..
I had a inverter cable attached hiding these fuses..

All power runs through the fusible links. This schematic shows the connection to the Battery Junction Box. That is the wire that I had dropped down beside the battery, my car seemed dead also.
