Truth. Some of the back mountain roads in WV and VA can rival the inclines, but in general you are 100% correct.

Coming down Sherwin Grade on 395S, with the cruise control engaged at 70, my transmission downshifts from 6 to 5 automatically.

This is interesting, the 2007 model owners manual makes mention of engine and trans braking with O/D off button selected and speed control. I’ll have to try that out some time to see what it does. Maybe the 6R75 does have some programming for this feature.

If you fiqure away around this happening, via forscan please let know. Because I find it very annoying, When flying d/hill cruise set at 75mph radio blasting, and then you notice your in 4th gear with the tachometer screaming!
