Help 4x4 / traction controll issues

ok i whent out with my girlfriend last week and went to show her some trailes in my area but when i went to put it in 4LOW the traction controll light was flashing so i had to bypass the hill and when I got home and checked it the traction control light still flashes but in 2wd-Awd-4hi the traction light doesn't come on or flash any ideas? could I have a bas sensor?

Isn't an 08 Expy too new to be having problems? its like one right after another with mine i'm irritated with my expy GRRRRR

Sounds like you pi$$ed on a sacred rock.. When shi* happens, it comes one after another

Maybe when you placed it in 4L, the flashing is just to warn you that TC is now disabled...

When in 4H, TC normally lights up when the wheels start spinning.. So, it is normal not to be on.

I think mindgame is right. Mine doesn't have it but my Hummer does and it light up when I put it into 4lo.

Ok so in 4low the traction control turns off, why is the light flashing on and off when in 4low? Its never done it before, the dealer said the light shouldn't be flashing on or off at all which is all they could tell me unless I paid them $95.00 for a Diogenes check up, anybody familiar with the 3rd Gen Expeditions?

Tell me about it lol..... other than this issue my truck has it runs fine and normal and I love my Expy a lot.

i had my 07 expy in low 4x4 the other day to back up a trailer and no traction control light on or flashing

That's how my 08 Expy has always been, I'm baffled about this issue, and my Expy hasn't been 4wheeling since before the wreck which was over 2 years ago and last time it seen dirt before I tried showing my girlfriend around was last September on the deer hunt pulling 2 4wheelers and some gear on a car trailer and that trip the truck never came out of 2wd mode, I might take her to the dealer and pay the cost to diagnose the problem but even then I'm not guaranteed they will find the issue with my poor Expy!
