The window cladding on my 99 Navigator is fading (I never liked how it looked anyway). I decided to attempt prying it off with a screwdriver but there doesn't appear to be any way to do this without destroying the plastic. The cladding seems bigger than the glass underneath and I don't want to be stuck with something that looks even uglier than it does now.

Compared to this 99 Expedition, it looks like the window opening is a slightly different size. I noticed the glass does not extend all the way to the right underneath the trim on mine.

Looks alright. Did it come off in one piece? What was holding it on?

I like it too but at the same time idk lol. It was something to make the navi look different. But mine are fading also. Idk. I was thinking of just repainting them. Not sure yet.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but to me those things made the vehicle look dated and a little bit ghetto.
