Dealer for new keys and reprogramming.

Thanks. I called my Ford dealer and they told me to call "Lock Jock" because they don't have parts like that for anything under the year 2006. For $240.00 the Lock Jock can come over here with two new sets of key's and reprogramming.

Have the locksmith clear the programing so it only shows two keys Then order some blank keys off of ebay Get them cut (lowes or hardware store) and you can then program them yourself. You can have up to 8 keys programed.

The procedure for programing extra keys is in the owners manual If you don't have your owners manual you can download it from owner.ford.com

Good point in making sure they clear the old keys. There is a limit to how many can be programs(I believe it's 5... I was told it is 8 keys).

I have ordered new Lincoln keys for two different cars already cut(you email them a pic of your existing key) for around $16 shipped. I hate how the generic keys look. As long as you have two programming is easy to do. I always keep 3 in case I lose one I don't need to pay a locksmith/dealer to deal with it.
