Hi all,

Another question. My 00' Expedition has power locks & sometimes the driver door & rear passenger door lock will not pop up every time I unlock doors. Since it works sometimes I am wondering what the issue may be.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I'm guessing it's your door lock actuators. I've had to replace 2 of mine on my 98. They would work on and off, and then started making a real 'fart' noise, then stopped all together. Mine was front passenger and rear driver.

What's the price on that. My driver's door needs replacing.

I can't remember exact price of what i paid. Up here in Canada things are a little pricier, but i think the front one was around $70 and the rear was about $50. I had to pay to have them installed however because my 98 model had them rivetted, and I don't have a heavy duty rivet gun. So add 1/2 hr labour to each one if you are not doing it yourself.

But like i said, you can probably find them cheaper online, or just the fact that you live in the US they will be more available, and cheaper.
