So...I went to DC for a meeting the other day....

Thank God I park in a secure garage when I'm working there. I'd be waiting for that a-hole and would probably get myself into some legal issues...

You'd be surprised at how often cars get tapped like this in parking lots. Most people back up slightly after they do it though.

That's just egregious. For sure the hitch ball with a locking pin is a good enforcer.

I can't believe they wouldn't at least back up after they bumped you but I guess there's a chance that they stopped just perfectly and didn't actually impact it or feel the impact. Most people are at least smart enough to back up when they're such poor drivers that they bump the car in front of them.

Here's what to do next time. Almost all cars out there you can lay under the front bumper reach out and pop the hood. We act like the internal Hood latches are some security measure but it's just like locks on houses and stuff. They only keep the honest criminals out.
I would have simply slid underneath our two bumpers touching and reached up and popped his hood and then opened it and propped it up. Unless I was really in a bad mood then I might have bent it up backwards over the windshield. But more than likely I would have just left it propped up or if feeling in a really nice mood just popped it up and left it at the first notch. This would have least made them think when they came out. Maybe they would have thought they hit it so hard that they cause their hood to come open and they would be more careful in the future.

I was waiting for removing wires or draining the oil, I would have put my hitch on and backed into the POS, repeatedly, then cut all his valve stems off, and spray foamed all their doors.

I like to do things at first that are mischievous but when exactly get you into trouble. That's why I would leave my vehicle parked right up against his when I slid underneath there so if a cop happened to roll by I can say I was making sure you know they weren't hooked together because some moron drove underneath my vehicle pretty much.
And popping someone's Hood to the first Notch and letting it stick up to in is not breaking and entering or criminal damage.
I know to some people a car is just a car and they don't realize how important they are to some other people. Then they say if it's that important to you you shouldn't be driving it or parking it anywhere. There's something to be said for that but it works both ways. You never mess with a person's vehicle... first. Once you do it can start a war that can lead all the way to jail or death. This is how important some people's rides are to them.
The world should be aware of this.

Happened to my wife at Nashville airport. Her Expy hitch cover was broken and the clown who did it drove off and left no note.

Funny post, but you can't pop hoods this way, unless its a 1977 Monte Carlo or 1980 Elcamino.

On my '04 Tahoe, you could pop the hood with a screwdriver through the upper grill at the linkage...
