Obviously you don't know my qualifications and you might need my help someday, don't be a wise guy.
Now that's funny!

You're probably not even in the same state as him so therefore he is never going to need your help on anything.
This is the internet. The entire world! Trust me, you don't have any super unique qualifications or knowledge that couldn't easily be obtained from someone else on the many vast forums we have available at our fingertips.
In real life... and this is not it because this is just online time killing and things to do.. it is very much about who you know and what relationships you can build. I am a firm believer and prioritize this in my life. But online???
The most I ever even expect to possibly do is have some people who share similar beliefs so we can support each other when nutjobs on forums like this are way off base , but think they know everything.

Very, very rarely do people even discuss what their wheelhouse is or what they do/did for a living or Hobbies. So how exactly do you think you could benefit someone on this forum or from this forum. What is your wheelhouse?
So many things can't be done via internet anyways.

You are so wrong. How many former mechanics are in here, maybe two?. I gave step by step fix-it how-to's with pictures on my Ex forum for 10 years. Don't be like that.

All I've seen you do is come in here in the past couple of weeks as a newbie with an attitude and stir up shit and not make many friends. I believe there was another post referring to just this.

Argumentative and derogatory and beating a dead horse about diesel engine oil not being as good as gasoline in a gasoline engine because you personally feel that way.

There are thousands of other lifelong professional mechanics informs all over the Internet who post daily. You're not that unique or needed here.
None of us are.
Most of us aren't here to help people out. This is just things to do to kill time in the boredom when nothing else is going on.

But I'm actually here to help people which I have been doing for years unlike you that does it for a pastime. I thought you were a respectable limo driver but I guess you are just another internet nut-job. With the Rotella; there was a lot to that and it needed to be addressed, don't bug me anymore.

Now, now gentlemen... everyone's experience and expertise is appreciated. Forums such as these work well as far as maintenance tips are concerned specifically because each of us has something useful to contribute, either from their past personal experience or research.

If it wasn't for people like you, this forum would be truly useless. Also, a bit of attitude (pride) in one's experience or profession is not a bad thing... whether you're a former mechanic, limo driver who does all his own maintenance or just a guy who really likes Fords and maintains his own for fun! All experience is useful information if it gets the job done right!

Can you imagine how boring it would be if everyone agreed on everything and we never got any new ideas on here? My former Ford forum (Explorer forum) was always full of guys debating the best ways to address x, y or z problem on their trucks... until someone came up with the best solution. It was more useful than having a shop manual on hand!

I don't bug you, but I will respond anytime you cut and paste any of my posts or say anything directed towards me because that's the rights I have as a forum member on here because you don't make the rules.
We abide by them. I never say anything derogatory or extremely hateful to other members. I will correct them when what I think they say is wrong and I will give them my opinions and preferences over and over. It does seem combative when someone is trying to change your views instead of just accepting the fact that you have a difference of opinion.
These forums are here for all of us to use as we see fit. There is no requirement to sign up to be an information source or to help people.
People use them for different reasons.
Trust me, I will never address a post to you and ask for advice. Feel free to never do the same to me.
Everything else is just a general free for all so do what you will.

MrTobe ... Yes thank you for answering my OP question. I agree they look low to me at 44. I think I will boost them up to 48 and see what that looks like. I discussed that with a Dude on I80 rest stop in Iowa today. He thought if anything they looked too low not high.

I also want to do the chalk test. Guess I'll have to ask my neighbor if I can borrow her kids chalk.

55 and sunny in Nebraska today. Shorts weather. Super nice! Not like Tug Hill back home
Later

Don't be too hard on 07Plati ... Umm I mean Navi. He means we'll and has a good sensahumor

When I first went to E tires … based on discussion and advice on this Forum … I did a bit of research and found some documentation (cross reference table) from something like "The American Tires Manufacturer Association" or something like that. I was able to look up my original P tire (maybe weight also) and cross reference it to the E tire and it specified a new pressure to run. That was about 45 psi I think. So all things being the same, just going from P to E I needed to run at the higher pressure. That's one way to do it. Its all buried in this Forum somewhere, maybe I can find it.

This was part of it I think
https://www.expeditionforum.com/threads/tire-pressure-sensor.34019/#post-281108

I've run LT tires on my 2003 @45 for a couple years and they are wearing about right so far.

Its interesting nobody commented on that pic I posted , how it looks.
Surprised today driving Interstate for 1000 miles or so. Gas mileage lowest ever in my 2014EL with those tires. 14 mpg where I would usually see 17 in summer. Not complaining. Tires have deep tread , are very heavy and, I think psi may be a bit low. Also I think winter blend gas hurts some, not sure. Hopefully I will need them in the mountains.

Oh...I thought you meant big game players didn't bug you.
Just didn't know if that meant people who shoot a lot of big animals or people who play a lot of video games.

I called you a troll first. I think the exact wording was "quickly becoming a troll".

I gave you credit for having an opinion and preference on not using diesel oil in gasoline engines but when you kept telling people it was so bad and that they shouldn't do it, I have to retract some of that credit for not having the people skills to say "I wouldn't recommend it and wouldn't do it" and move on; leaving people to their own opinions and preferences. Instead you beat a dead horse (not my words) and refused to let others disagree with your opinion or preference.
Often, people are not wrong just because they feel or do differently than the beholder.

Guys, come on... enough with the drama, already.

We're all "Expe-Nator Brothers" here. In Triton, we trust!

Not all. But we are fellow forum members...until a mod kicks us off!

When you spend a good deal of time online it makes you wonder how some people make it in real life person to person.
But then you realize many (maybe most) people are quite different online vs in person.
Some rarely interact face to face and even avoid personal interactions. This is a big trend in people today.
Then you have the tough guy or gal keyboard warriors who wouldn't say shit with a mouthful in person but are Billy bad ass online.
This carries over into dating and relationship and flirting stuff too.
There are so many people that are really good via text messages, FB, online apps etc but in person couldn't pick up a ****** with a fistful of $50s.
I was a shy, quiet teen who had like 3 friends in high school and not a single date because of being too afraid to push myself to do what was uncomfortable.
I was this was until I was 23.
Then I came out if my shell. Came out hard and hit the ground running 100mph.

Since then, it's been what you see is what you get.
I'm open about my thoughts and ideas and I'm just the way I am. Take it or leave it. I stopped trying to impress people or worry about what they thought a long time ago. I try to impress me. If I were rich, I would have warehouses full of vehicles not to say I had them or show them off...but by because it would make me feel good to have them.
I think many car guys and gals can understand this.

Anyway....we all have our strengths and our character flaws. I have decided I'm ok with most of my flaws so now I just need to work on that getting rich!

I don't mean to be rude to others on forums but why does it seem to be a one way street with certain people you encounter online.

Most, you can state opposing opinions and when both see they are set...agree to respectfully disagree.
But with the certain few, they refuse to let you have your 'wrong' opinion.
I guess they figure they will go for what they can...throw it it there and maybe you'll say "I think you're right" since some people are like that.
When you offer ANY resistance to their corrections you are immediately the enemy, uneducated, unaware, uninformed, biased, racist, something-phobic, uncaring, and usually a terrible or inferior human being.
Did I miss any?

I don't fully get it.
Can't I just say- "I think 40 psi in a load range E tire is too low and I wouldn't do it"
and leave them to do what they want in their lives?

Even when you think you know everything or at least know better.
You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink....
And if he refuses to drink you really don't accomplish anything by cursing, insulting, belittling the horse.
He doesn't care. He is a horse!

This will be my new phrase on forums and FB when this happens.
You will see it again and the lightbulb/joke bomb will go off.

When going back and forth with someone and I get that response from them...
I will respond.

"I'm the horse"

until someone came up with the best solution. It was more useful than having a shop manual on hand!

This is why I have used forums to search for any issues with vehicles for about 20 years now. They are very similar with people's descriptions and often pictures to a shop manual. The benefit is you get to read through several posts to see what the consensus is on fixing things and you will often find better or easier ways to do it than what the shop manual says.

It's so annoying now that you don't find as much on searches but you always just end up seeing tons of YouTube videos. I really dislike watching videos on repairing things because they are just too slow and often the people really aren't that good of a mechanic or haven't really found out the best way to do it. I always say that you either do things the hard way or the wrong way.
And I guess it's irritating that they always come across like they know everything. Especially the ones who are more technology people then they are Hands-On grease under their fingernails mechanics.
It's kind of like hey I just learned how to do this and have done it once and can barely get it done so I'll make a video. Vs The Other guys who have done things fifty or a hundred times and never made a video on a forum that when the topic comes up they can tell you how they always do it.

The "Ignore' button works wonders.
I personally think that the ignore and block functions on social media are just a way to wimp out but I also understand that some people don't like confrontation.

I find it funny on Facebook to see people talk about "I just block them".
Many of them come across like a badass. I block them because I'm tough and I win.
To me, they look like they're unable to handle a discussion and support or maintain their own beliefs.

I have never blocked anyone on social media and never intend to.

It's often use by people who always want to have the last word like ending a post with have a nice day. Or have fun with that...
Always having that flippant superior or snotty, condescending tone.
I have no reason to block a person. I can go back and forth as many times as they choose to restating what my personal experiences or preferences are. If they had any sense they would quit trying to change these ideas of mine or tell me they are wrong and just simply state that their experience has been different and they feel a different way.
You know... Like an adult conversation. State your beliefs or feelings on a topic and move on to the next. But I guess we ran out of things to talk about if everyone did that.
