A high revving engine always feels deseptively faster than a low rpm engine that makes more power. Its just the feel that sets them apart even if the low rpm engine pulls harder. Feel is good too.... Its all about what you like, and its great that we have both available.

Yeah the kickdown power in the GM’s is likely due to gearing too. You have to hold on for dear life if you kickdown at ~40-55. Thing jolts you to the back of the seat.

The 3.5TT is more a slow wave of power vs that instant jolt.

The numbers in documented tests show otherwise...The Navi beats the Escalade on all 3. Including 50-70...

You will notice the Denali is even quicker, it is the same powerplant as the Escalade, but lighter.

That chart really shows how the 6.2L is weak down low and makes up for it up top. Slower 0-60 times, but then almost catches up in the 1/4 mile and nearly runs thru it at higher mph. 6.2L would probably feel more exciting on highway, because they need to tune it to make severe downshifts to get into the high rpm where the power is. The 3.5L probably downshifts less and pulls at a lower rpm, which doesn't have the same OMG feeling. lol.

Yeah, the Denali really shows that. The faster 50-70, but slower 0-60.

Just a note that the Navigator L is comparable to the Escalade ESV in length. The Yukon is not an XL so I assume it is the short wheel base version.

Good catch. Lighter. So...not quite apple to Apple like the Navi L and Escalade ESV in that chart.

No order guide but a ford pamphlet summarizing the changes for 2021 models. Expy changes are summarized below:

-new STX trim, pretty much btw xl and xlt trims to include 8in touchscreen.

-more availability of wheels btw xlt and ltd trims.

-copilot 360 available on xlt

No new options, changes in features, or sync 4.

Anybody getting good deals right now? We're in the market for a new Limited with 4x4 and 302a. Hoping to get one for $60k but not sure if that is possible.

If its a Max 4x4, you are looking at $73K. None of the dealers have any, and they don't want to deal!

Yeah, production is behind, used car market has been tapped...so they aren’t rolling over as easy as they were several months ago.

It looks like I'm heading to the dealer tomorrow to negotiate an Expedition Max 4x4 with the trailer tow package. Wish me luck and thanks for all the help.

I’d paper cut my eyeballs and wash my face with lemon juice before physically going to a dealership to negotiate but best of luck to you!
