What number were they?I just did them on my 07 but I'm assuming the previous owner had done them before because they weren't too bad. I ran a bottle of the marvelous mystery oil (or whatever it's called) through a few tanks of gas first and then when it was time I pulled the coil packs and got some PB Blaster in there for a few hours. They all came out pretty easily after that, I also used air to blow everything down before I pulled the plugs and after to get all the carb cleaner out of things. Anyways that's my experience and good luck!
If you are rich.Take it to a mechanic to have it done
'11 doesn't have that problem.I changed my '11s 5.4 plugs last year warm with no extra precautions and experienced zero issues. Good luck with yours man. Sound advice.
Nobody cares about your truck or your money except you.If you take it to a mechanic you may pay (a lot) extra for head removal or fishing out broke pieces if he screws up the removal.
This is one thing I would definitely do myself.Nobody cares about your truck or your money except you.
