For a cargo mat, go with the Ford mats. Just NOTE --> The pictures you'll find on websites do NOT match what they really are. The pictures show a basic cargo mat. But the Ford cargo mat is foldable and stays attached to the rear seat backs so it's VERY convenient as it folds up and down with your seats.

When I had intermittent Car Play issues was because of lint in the lightning port on the phone. Gently root around in there with a pin or paper clip. I’m always surprised how much junk builds up.

Gonna try this today. Good tip.

Geez ... I could be wrong but if you "root around in there" with something metal, you could might probably will possibly short out some pins and fry some electronics.

That was my thought as well, they are waterproof though... but maybe it's such low voltage it isn't a big deal with the water part. Think I'd just use some compressed air and stay on the safe side.

The best thing I did to my 2019 Expedition Max was updating Ford Sync 3.0 to 3.4.

It was free and really refreshed the interface.

I tried the pedal commander and auto stop eliminator, but they weren't worth keeping for my driving style.

The OEM cargo and floor mats were worth it.

I'm also considering replacing the sway bars or related bushings if I get tired of driving in Sport mode most of the time.

My iphone has had zero issues October 2019 build. However!! I have had lots of bad cables vs phone in all cases not just car use. Likely wear on the phone and poor cable plug quality.

When I had an iPhone 6 (last year!) I had all sorts of problems with Sync 3 in my Explorer. I gave up on that phone when they stopped sending updates. Night and day difference and all I did was upgrade to an 8. Hiccups every once in awhile but the problem always goes away the next time I connect.

Idk if the 4th gen expys are the same as the 3rd gens but this is what I went with on my 3rd gen.

RUXIFEY Side Mirror Puddle Light... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RVKTWDB?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Thanks for the this link. I just ordered two pairs. Two for my mirrors and two to play with, thinking about in the lower hatch trim panel so they light straight down to the ground when the hatch is fully up, idk.

I’m happy with them. Very bright, but yet looks factory. They fade out like the originals did also. Neither one made a click sound going in, so I thought the clip wasn’t seated, but I couldn’t easily pry them back out so I assume they are in all the way and seated.
