Not happy with the body lean of my ‘22 Timberline - are the factory sway bars the same as the base models and what is current best alternative? Hellwig with some poly-urethane bushings?

You bought the offroad focused Expedition, and you are upset it has body lean? You do realize upgrading to stiffer sway bars will negatively affect the off road performance right?
exactly my thoughts. This is the reason they never offered these years prior...

I totally agree - it really should have coilovers and sway bar disconnects - but seriously, when we are talking about off road I have a modified Jeep Rubicon and a Raptor so I‘m putting this in perspective. I run this more on road than either of my others so if I can improve upon its on road leaning it would make me happy.

Get it. So hindsight 20/20, the Timberline wasn't the right choice. In that case Hellwig is your best choice.

In your opinion what would have been better for my needs? I wanted the HO 3.5.
If you weren't going off road, the SPP(Stealth Performance Pack) would have given you the HO, in a road/slightly more performance based option.

If they made the Timberline in a MAX, honestly, I would already have one on order.

I replaced the stock sway bars on my 2020 Limited Stealth (HD Towing) with Hellwig front and back and it made a huge improvement, especially when towing. Only issue, they are a little pricey.

Hi Maxie, did you replace the bars yourself? If you worked with a shop, would you please let me know how much you were charged for the labor? Thank you for your time.

It takes longer to grab the tools than it does to install it.

Are you a Hellwig rep, or just chose to name your account that?

Stealth Performance Package has the HO 3.5
The last thing I would want is 22" wheels - I do tow a trailer and wanted something that would be good in the sand off road but not like Jeep off roading. Really not many choices out there if you want a larger SUV, 8 passenger capacity and some off road capability. I looked at the Wagoneer, Tahoe, Land Rover and Sequoia but liked the Timberline better.

I have the front/rear Hellwigs on my 17 Expy. It made a huge difference. Less leaning in curves. It handles much better. Install was less than one hour for both. Next to the tuner and Bilstein shocks, it was a very good upgrade.

You can change wheels and the spp wheels probably fetch decent money when new take offs.

I have a Timberline with 18" wheels - may go to 17" when I upgrade.

Getting ready to get 17"s on my timberline. I think the 295/70/18s (34.26") look really good but in a 17" rim that same size 295/70/17 is 1" shorter and most do not make a 295/75/17. So I am debating from the following

295/70/17 33.26 x 11.61
or
305/70/17 33.81 x 12.01
or go skinnier with
285/75/17 33.83 x 11.22

I think with +25 offsets the 305s would not poke. The Sema Timberline has 35x12.50 with +25 offsets with no poke. At least judging by the pictures.
