Update:

Ordered 10/31/22
Got a build date of 2/26
Build date disappeared
Now I have a build date of 3/6 (whew!)

No idea how they work this out but ordered mine after your order date, Limited, SPP and loaded as well, built and delivered and it's at my dealers waiting for me. Makes no logic.

Most likely based on the priority the dealership gave the order.

2/6: Order confirmed
2/9: Email saying build date week of Mar 20

VIN created but status page does not state the Mar 20 date (date is blank). Pretty good even if the Mar 20 gets pushed out a week or two!

placed order on 11/11/22
got update on 2/9/23 that scheduled for production week of 3/20/23

same as above, have a VIN but status page doesn't show the date either.

Finally picked up my '23. Tri metallic white, SPP and basically every option. Absolutely great to drive, just a few things to figure out.

11/26 ordered. Scheduled a week later with vin for wk of 1/23
1/18- updated to In Production.
1/19- Window sticker visible
1/24 - Built, awaiting transport
1/26 - Eta 2/8. Sitting at the rail yard.
2/14 - was delayed at the rail yard for 1.5 wks waiting for pick up. Travelled 2 days by train to reach the destination rail yard. New eta is as far out as 3/1. I’d say that’s not real accurate information. Transportation error could end up 50% of total ordering time. Not cool.

Two 45 day emails later and I’m starting to lose a little patience.. have my eye on a 22 XLT max with 750 miles but waiting a little longer.

Finally got a production date today: 3/6/23

Just when you think it can’t get weirder. My dealer called to tell me it’s in.

feedback for those concerned about what normal is:

1) dash lines up good. No warping at all
2) doors aren’t super perfect but it doesn’t bother me.
3) all the electronics work as you would expect
4) the hatch where people have driver side ice dagger action had a loose press fit fastener. Pushed it in and it stayed fine. I’ll chalk that up to workmanship on the assembly line, but not going to loose sleep over it.

5) found one blemish of dust/fod in the paint at the drivers door. My truck is white. Any dark color and you wouldn’t see it. Not going to lose sleep over it.

6) the all season floor mats are tacky/meh. They don’t cover the space between the captains chairs. Probably better options out there. Not going to lose sleep over it.

7) didn’t get CCD suspension. I had an f150. This is similar but less jiggly. I bought a truck and not a Cadillac sedan. Perfectly fine with it.

So either I’m lucky, or people really have super high expectations on aesthetics.

Lastly… blind spot monitoring wasn’t turned on. The dealer tells me this is a thing on expeditions leaving the factory. No manual, so I didn’t have a place to look it up. So I let the sales guys sweat it out until they told me how to turn it on/off.

Payload is 1956 lbs. 7 seat, xlt max 202a with special edition package, 4x4 and no sunroof.

Feb 23rd, 2023 Shipped (Going Louisville KY to Sullivan MO, only a 4.75 hour drive by car!)

Now I wait and laugh about how long it takes to go 326miles to the dealership

Canada here. Ordered first week of November. Told this week by the dealer that there is a “material delay” and suggested that if we add the heavy tow package for $900 it *might* bump up production. Does this make any sense?
