New member just wanted to say HI.:)

Have a white platinum ultimate on order and are so excited we can barely stand it.

Order Date: 4-19-25
Be Patient Email: 6-3-25
Schedule Email: 6-19-25
Build Week (original week) 08-04-25
Build week delay to 09-22-25
Build week delay to 10-06-25

I’m assuming these delays are related to tire/wheel vibration pending final resolution.

Seems like everyone here is pleased with recent purchase. Great forum, excited to some day contribute…….

Our dealer says, we have even been upgraded to a priority 7. I’m assuming that doesn’t mean anything if the build was held up due to known issues?

Sweet, Thats quick. What model/trim?

SPP. agate black. Standard length.
I ordered a 20’ fx4 max back in early 2020 and recall it taking about the same. That being said, if this one gets pulled for QC or something, I won’t be surprised.

It the same spot. Ordered a few days before yours. They haven't pushed me to October yet.

Order Date: 4-8-25
Schedule Email: 6-19-25
Build Week (original week) 08-18-25
Build week delay to 09-22-25

There are many notices about the 24" wheels and how they are the issue for the builds. What's not clear is whether they are going to get them fixed or not though by these dates. I just emailed my dealer today to see if they knew anything more about them. It feels as though I should likely swap to the 22" ones though as that's now an option. I really like the look of the 24" and if the car can get built Sept/Oct I'll be happy. If that can't happen with 24", I'll need to swap to 22" ones as I need it for mid to late November before kid #3 comes.

Hey thanks for the reply. Painful huh. I find it hard to believe they would keep continuing to push out on a wheel issue if it can be resolved that easy but going to the 22”. Please reply back, if you learn anything from your dealer…….

I had the same problem. I ordered an ultimate on October 28th. Build date was pushed out to Aug 11 from June 9th. I screamed uncle and went back to the dealer to order a Stealth SPP. Build date is still Aug 11 for the Stealth. fingers crossed! Good luck on your ultimate order. But dont expect any mercy from Ford on your dilemma.

I am in the Ford vortex. I have considered that. But nothing close to my zip code.
I like my local dealer and my salesman. Their service department is 5 stars. This is my 4th vehicle from him. He said other dealers are reluctant to give them a 2025 because they are hot items. I got the xplan and a customer cash offer and a dealer discount which is $7000 off of MSRP total. I have ten days to see if they build it. Then i will have to reconsider. I feel for those who ordered an ultimate trying to get 24 inch wheels but i don't think they will get 24 inch wheels any time soon. They should have stuck with 22s from the beginning.

Same. Our build week is now 6 months out from our order confirmation. Close friend is the sales manager. Had I known it was going to be this long and delayed due to 24” rims I would have done something else. We placed a ordered because of limited availability and the fact we wanted HO, no bench and to get away from that new ugly a$$ interior color.

Just spoke to my dealer today. Said the expy is currently at the rail yard in KC....and that is where my dealer is. Said should have it on their lot later this week. So we could say delivered 8/14 or 8/15 perhaps. So less than 3.5 months turn around from order to deliver. Cant wait! I want my bronco back from the wife!

Sorry for the late reply. My dealer said that because it has a build date that nothing could be changed. I'm optimistic that it means we'll get the 24" wheels with it then and fingers crossed there is no vibration issue with it when we do get it.

I keep checking my build date, probably multiple times a day at this point. So far, it still has the 9-22 date for production. My fingers are crossed that it goes through still. I just took a road trip from CT to NC and we were able to rent a base model Max Plat for the drive down. We loved it for the trip. Now we are even more excited for the Plat Ultimate we have on order.

Enjoy. Hopefully the Platinum Ultimate's get wheel issues sorted out soon and the rest of us get ours built.

Yeah that seems like an odd problem to have too. Must be hundreds of wheel mfgrs around the world.

My Stealth SPP was built today. I changed it from an ultimate back in June. They kept pushing the build
date out. I changed the order even with the build date so don’t believe your salesman that you cant. I kept the same order number and the same VIN and the last build date which was this week. At this time I’m happy to get the SPP because I ordered back on October 28th. Its
Minus the salt gray interior massaging seats 24 inch wheels 2nd row bench seats and the ultra platinum bling. Good luck on your ultimate order. Oh well. Another one with a black interior and 2nd row buckets.

Build week now pushed again out to 10-13-25. Six months from order date. If this was due to vibration issues with wheels and tires, does anyone know what the resolution was/is?
