Deciding how may 6" off road lights to install
I had 4 of them up top. With a 4" rancho lift kit, I fit fine in drive thru's. I did not fit in some parking garages but I did fit in my garage. You could probably fit 5 up top if you wanted but that is about it...I put 4 because they looked even spaced...- nvycrmn

sorry to hear about the expy bud. Sure did have some fun wheeling with you. I sold mine a couple months ago. I sure do miss her, but I was able to put a 7.5" RCX kit on my 2010 Silverado!!! Will get another expy someday and SAS it with a lightning swap...ahh, I love dreaming!- nvycrmn

i guess i would have to say my blacked out theme, hidden winch mount with winch, offroad lights up top (took my cb antennas off for now), and my lift. not too many around here with a lift.- nvycrmn

New Member - Lifting my 2000 Expy - Hunting Lease
so i might be a little late. as far as the hidden winch mount from warn, I have one. you wont be able to fit a warn 10k winch, but a warn 9.5 will fit. other brands you will be able to fit a 10k, maybe even 12k. anything from warn larger than 9.5 will require a little modification to the upper...- nvycrmn

trey, for my 01 expy, if i were to take it into a shop, it would cost me just under 400, just to change plugs. COPS are gonna run you another 200 or so in parts, so all together you can expect to pay at least 600 for a shop to change all plugs and COPS...- nvycrmn

so this is the issue, i dont have enough money to change plugs, cops, and o2 sensors. the shuddering felt mostly at low rpms up until about 2k range. once i get over 2k, the "missing" doesnt seem to be as noticeable (unless at constant rpm going up steep hill, say at 2k rpm. then there is some...- nvycrmn

so i am going to re-attempt to change the spark plugs this weekend. gonna have to wait to change out the COP's, unless I find one that absolutely needs it. is it advisable to use di-lectric grease on the tops of the spark plugs? also, if the top portion of the COP looks good but the rubber boot...- nvycrmn

wanting it bigger
they discontinued the rancho but you can still find them sometimes on ebay. i believe thermo has the same kit. i know there is a 5" out there that another member had on his expy. suspension kits get expensive though. i think a body lift would look just fine, just make sure you order the gap...- nvycrmn
