I have a friend of mine who owns a huge Auto Parts store. He sells Hundreds of Wiper Blades each week. He used to carry Silicone blades made by a Japanese Company called PIAA. He stopped carrying the brand and Silicone because his sales dropped off to almost zero and no repeat customers. After a couple of years, he went back to regular rubber and of course, in Arizona where the heat just destroys Rubber, he now is back up to what he was selling before he dropped the PIAA line. The Silicone blades are replacement and are considerably narrower than factory OEM probably to get you to buy the long blade itself that the replacement Silicone fits into. They are not cheap. Ebay has them as well as Amazon. I am not sure of any Auto Parts Stores carrying them as they like to sell wiper blades. One sale and its out. Aero Vogue is their Silicone Blade replacement and here is a test:

I bought several sets on clearance between Q4 2016-Q1 2017 for my Expedition and my wife's car, so we're both running old stock. Maybe the newer ones have gone downhill. Or maybe the Snow Drivers look the same, but are actually different. You've kind of convinced me not to try them though.

They do quite well in the rain. They are a little picky with the cold weather (snow and ice) so far. Could just be a characteristic of beam wiper blades. The one edge that doesnt make contact with the curve of the windshield is expected. The drivers side wiper is slightly missing contact on the one edge, which isn’t as expected. They aren’t bad, and not like they are a super pricey wiper. I’ve heard silicone is the way to go.
