Hello, apologies in advance for seeking a bunch of help, but hoping someone can shed some light on a few things. We just got another 2003 Eddie Bauer.

1) My door ajar alert appears each time I've gotten in, and have checked all doors, the hatch, etc. I've tried WD40 into the latches to free something stuck with no avail. Been told its impossible to isolate which latch/switch may be faulty. Dome light stays on until i reach ~10 MPH then turns off. Upon exiting, the dome light may remain on longer than typical. Any suggestions?

2) Side view mirrors do not respond at all. Turn signal indicators below mirrors are responsive. Fuse has been replaced, but still inop. Any suggestions on this?

3) Drivers side seat control inconsistent with desired direction when toggling. In other words, if I toggle reverse, it may lower. Tried going in reverse and forward today and it engaged (trying to move) but would not move. Lowering and raising would work. At a loss with this issue as well.

5) Check backup indicator alert also appears upon starting. It seems to work, indicating it is "on" then that message appears?

Appreciate any feedback/suggestions!

I had the same door ajar issue not too long ago, the switches are mounted on the inside of the doors with the latch assembly. Mine was the one on the back window, which i began tapping on the latch ass and the lights flickered. You can unplug each one individually to see if your dome lights go off.

I've had to replace my side view mirrors when the motors stopped working, you can first check behind the mirror switch to see if the problem is there first.

There are a few motors under the seat that control different directions, make sure the connections are secure. Those are commonly replaced.

Good luck
