Are you pissed that Ford never offered a light duty Diesel for the Expedition?

Many of the 2015-2017 you see are fleet vehicles sold 1-4 years after purchase. Rentals, company cars, etc. I think some were held a little longer than the usual 1-3 years waiting to see how the new redesign worked out.

My 2017 was a fleet. Bought with 60k. At 80k now with no major mechanical issues. My front blower plug likes to get hot and lose its connection, but that's it. Tows my 7k trailer like a champ too. When the 2018s get down to 30k in 2 -3 years I'll probably upgrade.

My fleet or rental 2017 is completely stock and near 60,000 miles on it. I don't have the HD towing but tow with it just fine. No motor or transmission issues. That's likely because I bought a factory extended warranty. LOL I've owned it about a year and half and put 31,000 miles on it. I've only changed out the air filter at 30K about to do it again. I did the tires around 55K miles. So far that is it.

Understand I expect this of any new vehicle.
Going over 120,000 miles will tell the real story.

2017 Limited EL 4x2 that was a rental, got it with 49K now at 62K. Only issue was when I had the dealer tune it up, replace the spark plugs, and decarbon he didn't do a good job blowing everything out so it was throwing a check engine on one cylinder. Just ran her hard for a while and rock solid now. Love it, especially the integration with Android Auto.

There is a resistor-fix for that.....might be worth a look on you-tube?
