Update, I went with OEM after learning that the pins on the Cloyes will eat into the block/cover. Truck is at 293k now, still quiet.

@erickperez regrettably, I do not recall where I read that. I think it was info from either a YT or FB reel mechanic.

Just an update. The Cloyes timing set, Ford cam phasers, Ford cast iron tensioners, Melling oil pump were installed in 2016, 10 years ago this month. Roller followers were not changed. Engine purrs like a kitten and smooth and quiet with 110000 miles since the timing job. If the Cloyes set is defective, it has not presented itself at all.
