I joined this forum because I LOVE expedition. Yeah, it's an old girl like me but I love her just the same.
Apparently there are No mechanics where I live because nobody wants to work on her. I am definitely not a mechanic but a fairly decent parts replacer if someone can steer me in the right direction.

I need help with a cold water leak. I am not sure which category that belongs in. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, and your expedition is just barely broke in. I've got my trusty 05 with 5.4 3-valve and did timing chains, phasers and oil pump at 254k miles. At 256k now and the engine runs like a sewing machine, quieter than the day I drove it off the lot in Houston on the way back to Nacogdoches.

This forum is an exceptionally good one, the people are great and I've yet to find an issue somebody here hasn't already done or isn't an expert on. So welcome aboard.
