anyone with a 2011 having the same issue with not being able to reset the adaptive learn table in forscan, says module not supported, i varified with a fancy snap on reader and same issue, not supported. 2011 was a weird year in the expedition the tcm is still part of the lead frame inside the transmission like the 09-10 f150 greenoak ecu. 2011+ f150 are all copperhead ecus with the tcm inside the pcm. according to mitchell on demand the 2012 expedition has a different lead frame (not internal tcm like 2011)

As far as i know there is an adaptive table (not to be confused with the KAM for driving habbits), adaptive table stores shift pressures and clutch fill times ect as the transmission ages and makes adjustments.

See if you can reset the TCM memory, we struggled with a few of those early 6R80s. Ford got to the point of only selling the Lead frame with a valve body for those three years. I have retired but I think my yard only has 2012 and newer at this point.

i did that also and nothing, the only options available in forscan is reset all adaptions (KAM) and reset tcm (like a reboot basically), the other ones that are there just say module not supported. to me it seems like the packets its trying to send from forscan side thinks its talking with a copperhead ecu so its not getting validated.

Try the reboot on the TCM. Can you see if there are any updates from Ford with Forscan. I only used genuine Ford hardware and software. IDS and FDRS?
