Based on the amount of time you've been dealing with this issue, I am sure you aware of the attached SSM. Based on your description of the issue, it seems like your truck is a prime candidate for the fix supposedly coming in October.
Because you mentioned having FORScan, this excerpt from the...
I would get your answer from the source. They have an 800 number you can call so you can be 100% certain. In some cases, it may have to be installed by the dealer (as easy as it may be) in order to be covered as opposed to you flashing the tune on it yourself...
Check this in the IPMA in FORScan:
706-26-19
xxxx 0xxx xx--
If you have a 0 there, try changing it to an 8 and then reboot the IPMA. This will tell the IPMA it is calibrated. If it does not get rid of the code, then change it back to a zero.
I am not sure where the calibration values are on...
Yes. That is the correct way to do it if you do not have a proper FDRS cable. You cannot trust FORScan to pull the correct files on its own, but it is very capable of flashing the firmware if you have a good source for the files.
I got your message, but I am responding to you here because I cannot attach pictures in messages on this forum. It seems like your truck is affected by the SSM I posted above. Even though your Sync version is outdated, you do not show any pending updates for the Sync related modules. The dealer...
Sync 22277 is software from 2022 and for sure is not the most current software. Unless your truck is affected by the attached SSM that was recently released to dealers, you should have more updates available for you. Message me the VIN and I can check, but chances are, it's just the unreliable...
Here you go:
https://naviks.com/c-1207149-360-camera-interface.html
I have one of these in my truck. Mine brought the 360 cams, but I am using this to mirror my phone to my Sync screen via HDMI and also to integrate a wireless camera that I put behind my boat while towing onto the factory...
Try unplugging the GWM for 15 seconds with the ignition on but engine off. Then try a fresh scan with FORScan. When you open the session and it asks if you want to select the existing profile, select no so FORScan does a fresh scan.
The fitting of the line on the brake caliper is also my only concern. I would hate to take everything apart, get that far and have to stop. In the case of the F150, a different bracket for sure is needed to mount the caliper. Fortunately, one of the techs that works at my dealer is going to do...
Agreed! I had a 2019 F-Pace S with that engine. I had it tuned and pulley'd by VAP. Bumps up the power to 475hp. That engine was stout! I hate the new inline 6 crap engine they are using now.
Unfortunately, the days of FoMoCo in the JLR product is long gone now.
Off topic, but I have to ask because I've worked at a Jaguar dealer for almost a decade and I don't recognize this wheel. What kind of Jag is this?
On topic: I'm in the process of upgrading my front brakes to the Baer 6S system that comes on the Shelby F150's. While doing my research, it seems...
24 Expos are shipping with BC 1.2, correct? Try turning off the in-lane repositioning features if you don't want the truck to move over in the lane when there is another vehicle next to you.
Ford has not released any Bluecruise updates for the Expos/Navis as of yet. There is no way to get lane change etc to work on these cars. I've tried and failed several times with a few brave souls willing to use their trucks as guinea pigs. I suspect the software in the GWM does not contain the...
No, not that I know of. However, I have found that many things are the same across many vehicles. While I cannot guarantee that is the case here, it will not hurt to try. Worse that can happen is you don't get the result you want and you can change it back.
I wonder if this is just due to FDRS not telling the IPMA it is calibrated after it calibrates it. If anyone with the issue has FORScan, pull up the IPMA config and check what you have here:
706-26-19
xxxx 0xxx xx--
If you have a 0 there, try calibrating the IPMA with FORScan and if it...
In terms of the 4x4 error, look in the FORScan spreadsheet under IPC for these values:
720-01-01
Xxxx xxxx xx--
720-11-01
Xxxx xxxx xx--
Not sure about the mileage, though. Also, note that if the part number of the IPC you swapped in is not the same as the one that was in there, this will...
I have an F150, so it may be a bit different, but in my truck, there is only one DSP which powers most of the speakers including the sub and the ACM behind the touchscreen powers 4 of the speakers total 18 speakers. Based on the wiring diagram I sent you, the DSP powers the sub in your truck...
Here you go. I pulled the signal from the OEM sub to add subs in my truck and use an LC2i to get rid of the bass-roll off. I know the proper way of doing it is with a KEY-LOC or equivalent, bit works just fine for me as it is.
