02 Autoheadlight Dillema!

Hey, so I had my navigator for 3 years now and I could never get the interior lights to come on at night. Only the headlights come on but everything else is off.I've checked all the fuses in the Drivers kick panel and under the hood nothing! I also messed with the sensor Located on the top of the dash, took it apart and everything but im guessing that one only controls the headlights so wheres the one that controls the Interior lights?Are there any other fuses some where else?This is been Driving me crazy!!!!

I'm not sure mabey stamp can clear this up .but did this have a lighting control modual? Also some of the lighting went through the multifunction swich

Well my brother has an expedition and I switch the light switch with mines and that didn't do nothing. I'm guessing it does have a lighting control modual?

My manual is for a 99 but the logic may be the same. Will the interior lights come on when you open the door(s)?

Exterior

Autolights ON, as you can see the rear lights dont turn on!



Autolights ON Corner light are not on!

Interior

Autolights ON Cluster,radio climatecontrol all off ect.


Autolights OFF Interior light are on w/ headlight switch on ON



P.S. truck was not on that's why all the idiot lights are on

I'm going to make an assumption here. The only thing that changed was replacing the dash lights with LEDS. No other mods were made and the dash lights did work prior to the change. Is that correct?

Also check the parking lamp relay operation.

Do you have a test light or dvm?

no they didn't work even before the Leds but I do have a test light.

On the 87-1page, where it said hot to start or run in the Central Junction box the 16 29 5A 31 inside the box, Are those suppose to be Fuses?

The numbers can be confusing to make it simple its fuse #29 and its 5amp the other numbers are just wire numbers

GOT IT FIXED!!! ty all it ended up being the brown/white wire in the headlight switch
