I know a guy that swapped a 5.4 into his Mustang with that intake. It had tons of torque but was done by 5500rpm. And it only works on 2v heads. 06 has the 3v. That's why I suggested the E Force in the other thread. It replaces the entire intake.

Bigger throttle body is going to be a waste of money on stock manifold.
Don't do it. You'll never see that 7 HP gain without a re - tune
that will switch you to high test. And then I'd be suprised if you even see 3.

The best way to tune is either just use the canned tunes from the programer or take it to a dyno and actualy do a real tune based dyno results.

so in order to feel the HPs from that throttle body I need a tune?

You need a bigger engine to feel the benefits. 7hp is small enough to be considered a variance in the dyno itself. The stock throttle body flows enough air for a stock engine. The only reason everyone talks about increased throttle response is because the bigger throttle body allows more air in at less throttle angle. But at WOT there is no difference. If the stock engine only needs 700cfm and the stock throttle body flows 750cfm, then it's not a restriction. You can put a throttle body capable of flowing 1000cfm on there. The engine will still only need and use 700cfm.

should I finish building her then take her to a dyno?
The best tune is the one you do yourself. No tuner will spend the time and care as much about your car as you do. Plus if you have the software you can make adjustments as needed. You won't have to pay a tuner each time. Get everything worked out then figure out the tune.
