I am going to a u pull lot this weekend to get some parts for my truck, and I have a couple of questions on a couple of parts i am unsure about.
Where is the wiring harness for the running board lights? Neither side works, and the fuse is good (Drivers side wires were messed up so I patched them, neither side still works), so I decided to run the wiring harness all the way back to the main harness and replace all of it. (I know that each side has it's own wire set that plugs into the harness for the running board lights, but where does that harness connect to the main harness at)?
Also, where is the harness for the license plate lights at? One had a broken bulb put in it and melted the connector/wire, so i want to replace the entire harness if possible (I don't want to have splices, I want original wiring if possible).
Finally, can I use a newer instrument cluster in the older truck? (I have a digital gauge, but a manual odometer roller on it, and want to see about upgrading to the newer, electric and digital odometer), or is that not possible?
