Hi guys I have a problem. My engine light recently came on and it was diagnosed with the infamous #4 coil and plug failure. Well, I replaced the coil and plug but the engine light remains and my Expy seems to shake even more especially when a accelerate to 40 m.p.h. My mechanic also informed me that their is a slit in my vacuum hose. Is the hose the problem or is it something else. Please enlighten me with your suggestions!

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Have you pulled the codes after replacing the coil pack and plugs? Did you reset the codes after replacing those parts?
If your mechanic said a slit in a vacuum line then there is your answer.
To find out which one listen for hissing or grab a can of starter fluid and
with the vehicle on spray around the vacuum hoses. When it surges you
have found your culprit.
