Ok...Interesting problem here and it leaves me a bit puzzled.
As a 99, with the shift on the fly and A4WD and no more manual or auto locking hubs etc etc, I've had a problem with the system disengaging.
At a turn of the switch, the system will engage. With another turn of the switch, it will disengage...almost. The 4x4 light goes out, but if you go to make a turn, you feel it for sure. A couple of times of turning the system on and back off tends to do it, but I'd rather fix this problem than come up with a work-around (although its good to know).
I'd appreciate some input on this. Thanks
