Hello,

Mostly in the morning, I try to start the engine. First time it only cranks. Sencond time the engine starts. I know my battery is good. Does this have to do with spar plugs? Thanks!

Sounds more like a fuel filter issue. Could also be the pump or relay, but I'm leaning toward filter.

What happens if you turn the key to the 'run' position and let it sit for a minute or two, and then try to start it?

When's the last time the fuel filter was replaced?

Do as tonydiv says. Turn the key to the one position and let it sit there. Or, turn it to the on position, let it prime up (about 5-10 secs), turn it off, then start it up.

Thanks. I just tried to put the key in run position and, after a minute, started the engine on 2nd time. So same result.

The dealer replaced fuel filter 15000 miles ago.

The fuel pump was replaced 23000 miles ago by the dealer (2nd replacement). So the fuel pump may be starting to get bad again...?

Currently it has 134000 miles.

How can I check for relay (location, etc.)? Can I simply replace it, just to make sure? Thanks again, all.
