I just installed a new Gibson stainless steel exhaust, K&N cold intake, and Hypertech programmer. I am pumping out 345HP, and 405 torque. It is amazing how just $1000 will change the vehicle.

How did you measure that?

That is more than Hypertech claims by 74HP...

I take it you added all the "claimed" numbers from the manufacturers?? It doesn't work like that...

Just the Hypertech will not do it all, but with all changes, that is all that I needed to do.

So, you're telling us that an intake, exhaust and programmer gave you a gain of 85HP and 55lb ft. of TQ?

No offense, but you don't expect us to believe that do you?

How did you measure the gains you claim?

How about tranny upagrades? With those numbers, you're gonna need some. And how about brakes? Great to have that much power, but also great to stop that much power also.

Let us know about how you got your dyno numbers, alot of us would love a 85 hp increase for $1000.

I added all those things and my 4.6 is hot! Plus, I added some purple lights underneath and 200 pounds of bling-bling to the interior and I got another 300 horsepower and 500 torque lb/ft.!

I think you can get to 300 hp at the flywheel with chip programming and 91/93 octane fuel, though I haven't really seen it for myself.

Curious, but does anyone know what the drive train loss for the EXPY is and what rear wheel horsepower should be for the stock 5.4L engine?

22% loss is a relatively good figure to determine RWHP.

reprogramming is my next thingto purchase and i've been toying with the idea of a 50-75 shot of nitrous i'v already upraded everything else(brakes, exhaust, intake) wheels and transmission
there is a dyno place down the street so as soon as I rake up the
cash for the reprogramming I will attempt to publish it to this site
