Wanted to share this with everyone in case it helps.
Started the Expedition at lunch and accidentally ran through the mode selections on the A/C very fast. After that, the A/C started cycling on for 5 secs or so and then back off for 5 minutes or so. This caused no real A/C to work. After a lot of internet research, I found the only clue might be a confused program or an error in the PCM. I removed fuse #5 in the fuse box for a few minutes to reset the PCM and the A/C is back to normal.
