My 2010 has the microsoft sync, and today the when I put in a flash drive in the USB port the computer did not recognize it. The truck stated no USB present. Anyone know what the problem is?

Does this flash drive work on a normal PC? Maybe it needs to be formated? Not familiar with the Sync setup, what does the manual say regarding flash drives?

I have it in mine as well and love it... My biggest pet peeve about the system, is it doesn't really understand the spoken word very well... If you say can call dad, it'll call Dan. Kind of annoying. Cannot comment on the usb, I have an 8g in mine and it's been fine. Might suggest trying to pull it out, shut car off, re-install, then start car, don't really know. Also, might suggest this forum... Www.fordsyncforum.com you have to register, but some pretty knowledgable techies over there.
