I had the break light switch from Autozone for 2 years an no issues at all. I changed it out in about 30 seconds.

I've had a total of 5 5.4 powered Ford's and haven't had any major problems with any of them.

08 expedition -sold at 184k I think, ran great when sold

To be fair, you didn't hit especially high miles on any of them. In my eyes, I have to get to at least 200k before having to dump a bunch of money into a vehicle for me to consider a vehicle truly reliable. My 5.4 is still going, but I've had to put a lot more into it to keep it going than I have most of the other vehicles in my 27 years of driving. I really like driving it though, so I've stuck with it.
