Ordered the 2” lowering kit today, have read mixed reviews, but the only source I could find for the late model drop.

Hope to have pics once it arrives.

Pics below of stock height.

Was able to get everything installed front and rear with rear brakes done at the same time in about 11 hrs. Would have been faster without a trip to the hardware store for some huge wrenches. But that’s what I needed for the lower strut bolts. 1 1/16” and 1 3/16” I believe. Would have been easier with a nice impact wrench also.

Very happy with the results!

Needed this to allow my wife to get in/out of the truck easier. (Medical issues)

You have to call Air-Bag-It directly, since they aren’t listed online. 2” or 3” drop is available.

Mine is otherwise stock, wheels and tire size. Drove it over to get an alignment and all set. Happy there is an option for these model vehicles. This is my first vehicle to lower. Have lifted several in the past.

Thanks for the follow-up. Saw the front plate and wondered if this was medical necessity or not. Hopefully that'll keep the negativity at bay with the pro-mall crawlers here. Hows the ride - any different from stock? Does it feel a little more nimble? Outside of brakes, how much are you into this for?

In my younger years I swore I’d only drive huge 4x4’s. I’m older and yeah health stuff happens. Still love big mud terrains on an off-roader. Just don’t want it on my daily driver.

This is the wife’s and it is comfy. Ride seems unchanged. Believe the spring rate may be slightly lower than stock since the struts were about the same height unloaded.

I think it feels a little more planted simply due to now having a slightly lower center of gravity. I considered beefing up the sway bars, but don’t want the ride to be rough.

All 4 struts were $700.

This is awesome. I've been searching for a lowering kit for my wife's 2012. McGaughys couldn't tell me why the their kit stopped at the 2010 models. This means our 2012 will be lowered on 22s soon.
