Stumbled onto this Expeditiion on dealer lot. 2020 xlt. MSRP is about 71k. Thinking about making an offer on it and sell my 2001 7.3 excursion that I built 20 years ago! Any suggestions on what kind of price I could expect. TIA

Hey its end of yr, take every incentive you can get on it and its currently on sale for 57k. For that price, id pay 3 or 4k more for a ltd with better seats, sound system, materials and more options, but they have none available on sale at the dealership you're looking at.

Buy used.. I picked up my 2019 platinum with original window sticker of 83k msrp for 53k with 18k miles on it back in July.

I just bought a star white 2020 XLT MAX and the MSRP was 68.5k. They had it advertised for 52k. I had another 2000k bonus cash and walked away with it for 50 before TTL.
what's the bonus cash? did you pay cash or finance?

It was Illinois Farm Bureau. Normally they offer $500, but December they upped it to $1000 and if you log into the website they gave you $2000 for super duty’s and expeditions. So basically after the $9000 Factory rebate ans $2000 I got $11k off MRSP before a dealer discount of about 6000.

Yeah. I am only a member because my insurance company signs me up as part of my policy at $20 a year. Best $20 I’ve ever spent!

This all day. Depreciation on these things is insane. And don't think you'll drive it till the wheels fall off. I made that mistake with my first new car.... it got flooded in a tropical storm after one year. First and last new car I ever bought.

Normally I would agree. I was ready to purchase a used one with 8k miles. But I was able to get a new one right now for 2k cheaper. It’s the right time of year to buy a new expedition on the lot.

Hey guys, first time expedition owner and just bought a new 2020 xlt max. I have never believed in buying new due to depreciation but pandemic has caused used prices to inflate and rebates were too good to pass up. I ended up paying 46k before taxes, tag, etc with 201A package, captains chairs and tow package. I couldn’t find anything used with less than 20k in mileage for that price.
