Crazy how I have nothing still. What is a priority 10 if you don’t mind me asking?

Good info exists if you Google “Understanding and Tracking Your Custom Order”. It’s a spiraling discussion down a rabbit hole :)

Thanks for that information. Got mine from them too, along with the information that the rail car had reached the destination yard (where it is being relocated onto a truck for the last 40 miles). So now I just have to wait for it to get to the dealer - maybe a couple more days?
Should be a couple of days to a week. Mine arrived yesterday to the rail yard and the dealer is estimating that it should be ready for me to pick up by the end of the week, and they are only 6 miles from the yard.

My wife's was unloaded on the 17th. Just waiting for it to show up at the dealer. Merry Christmas.

Ordered the EXACT (color and options) as OP on 8/23, minus the auto 2nd row window delete because that wasn’t there at the time of my order. Talked to the salesman today because of the OP’s post, and as of today (10/27) build scheduled for week of 12/5. Now how long it sits in KTP’s parking lot is a different story, but here’s hoping.
Not looking to make anyone mad, but picked up my ordered 2023 Timberline yesterday (12/20/22). The SUV entered production on 12/2, Built on 12/9, Dealer called on 12/19 said it was in, and I picked it up yesterday. Things seem good so far. One of the Timberline common issues of the seat covers being a little loose in a few areas I do somewhat have mainly the front passenger seat. I don’t see any warping with dash panels so that’s good. It has the B&O Stereo and it sounds really nice, but has some door buzzing as the volume goes up with bass(y) music. My Timberline with 501A & Heavy Duty Towing gave me a payload of 1688 lbs., so that should allow for a reasonable Travel Trailer to be towed. Dealer honored pricing I got in August, which it has gone up 1K or so since I ordered. Wasn’t thinking it would show up until January sometime, but got a Christmas gift to me a little early. Lastly, that iPad in the middle of the dash is HUGE!

Congratulations! Send pics……..
I was curious if the tires are mounted white letters visible (as most or all of the 22’s had) or black sidewall? I prefer the black and I am hoping I won’t need to remount them. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Actually I was wrong with one of my date. Build completed on 12/15, so some how it made it to the Detroit area in less then a week. Merry Christmas and hope your orders come in soon.

@rappmel I don’t fall in that category but I will say this…. It is my opinion that the dealership you order through can make a substantial difference in your overall timeline. I spoke in depth with sales staff at four different dealers, and the level of knowledge or ignorance of the product and the order process in general was eye opening. Some had no idea if the Order Bank was open, seemed lost when I mentioned the 2023 Order Guide or Required Delete items, etc. and likely would not have the first clue about order priority codes. I hope it’s just a timing thing and any day you will get your build scheduled, but if you have any doubts about the knowledge level of your dealership contact, I would suggest you reach out to them and try to determine exactly what they have ordered on your behalf. Good luck!

Thank you and I feel like my sales rep was very knowledgeable when I ordered. I never heard anything about priority codes though. I may need to reach out again and ask some more questions. I’m just at a lost at this point and want to cancel. Super frustrated and he has told me they had one get a build date so far that’s been ordered. I am under the understanding that once they submit the order it’s in fords hands now?! So idk thank you for all your information

I also did order a limited and I have heard those were put on hold, but I also don’t understand why that would be.

Reddit has some compelling description of how orders are selected, if you google "how Ford builds are selected each week".

Well gang, my Timberline 501a arrived yesterday exactly two months after ordering. Went to pick up today, super excited upon seeing it sitting out front, and walked out empty handed. Everything was great and as-expected except for one thing- the front seats. The quality of workmanship is so poor I just could not hand over $83k for something that should not pass quality control. The seat appears to be and feels to be missing foam in some areas. There are loose areas where the leather is puckered. Sorry I’m not doing a better job describing it. Basically Picture what would happen if you cut open the seat, cut out a section of foam, and put the leather cover back on. The salesman acknowledged but shrugged it off as “hand crafted” … laughable. Manager seemed not surprised.

So… back to the drawing board for me and the Super Duty lives on.

Side note funny story… my kids love our F250- we are talking several days of major tears and tantrums leading up to today. The sadness this morning when we had them say goodbye to the truck was painful to watch as a parent (sounds so ridiculous I know). So although the joke was that the arrival of the Timberline was early Christmas for me, it ended up being early Christmas for the kiddos when a couple hours later I rolled back into the driveway in the superduty :).
