Out of my own morbid curiosity: how much $$$ is invested in that? Between all the stereo/electronic components, speakers, wiring, wood/fiberglass/sealant, vibration dampener, wiring, alternators, batteries, suspension upgrades and any associated supporting materials? Not counting labor and consumables.

I was in the car audio game for a while back in the day, but never to that extreme. Best I ever did was to build a box for twelve 12s and 2 US Amps (that were 4' long each).
Subs $500x4
Sub amps $800x4
6.5 components $200x4
Speaker amps $300x4
8" speaker $40x4
Bullet tweets $30x4
Northstar 480 AGM batteries $800x2
Wood $600
Head unit $1300
Wire about $1K
Fuse box holder $125
Resin $200
Bondo glass $50
Bondo filler $??
Apex 370a alts $550x3
Dual alt bracket $425

That's just the big stuff... lug nuts... heat shrink...

That's almost as much as I paid for my Expedition.

Expensive hobby. But, I can't judge; I have almost 3x that in my hobby, not accounting for the "expendables" used every time I partake in honing my skills.

Dude, you are a Marine. Be proud of the fact that your hobby makes lots of noise and punches holes in....most things. It's men like you that help keep us all safe, both on and off the battlefield :D

And yes, the only thing a Marine is afraid of? ...his wife finding out how much he spent on his guns. ;)

Thank you for your service sir!
