4WD sway bar fit 2WD?

Looking at upgrading the front and rear sway bars on my '99 Expedition. Currently, I have the 32mm front sway bar. From what I can tell, the 4WD trucks came with a 35mm sway bar. If I can find one at a junkyard, it would be considerably cheaper than the new Hellwigs or Belltechs, but I don't know if these will fit on my 2WD. Does anyone know, or will I need to purchase an aftermarket to upgrade?
