4x4 knob won' t turn

May be purchasing a 2002 EB with 48k. Don't believe the car has ever been out of AWD (orig. owner was neighbor who hardly drove the thing) The knob will not turn to 4WL or 4WH. Doesn't even feel like knob is made to turn (no play at all!) Thoughts

Try spraying with some electronic cleaner the some silicone spray You may want to remove the knob and switch to do this
