Just bought an '07 Limited and I'm in the process of fixing it up. I already fixed the rear HVAC, bought new headlights that aren't fogged, and will be grinding down the roof and repainting with Herculiner soon. I searched around and didn't see anyone who has tried to upgrade to a 5 button fob. It looks like it has a button to unlock/open the rear hatch instead of just the glass. I'm curious if it works if my current fob is only 4 buttons that only opens the glass. I never use the glass so it would be nice to have the option for the hatch. They're cheap and I could just try it, but figured I'd ask here first.

That will only work if it was equipped with the optional electric lift-gate, your dash will have this button to the top right like mine if it is:

The original on a Limited was a five button fob. I think we're on our 3rd set of fobs now that the vehicle has 222k miles.

I had a feeling it was only for the power lift gate. I was hoping maybe it would at least unlock the gate if pressed. I just ordered the 4 button ones and they work fine. Good ol' Chinese ones from eBay, 2 for $8.

Next up is installing the Bilsteins in the rear. Getting some good oscillation on bumps, so hoping that'll fix it.
