Refers to our axles as well as the clutches are mostly universal. Even talks about what type of material clutches are for what kind of driving, and how adding more plates will increase the preload/engagement, also gives info on what the preload/springs should be used for the application.

Anyone know if I can just toss a l/s carrier into a non-l/s housing? I miss having l/s or locker in the rear. Maybe Chris or Chris know if they aren’t too busy swinging their purses at each other.

Absolutely you can.

Two options, find a factory LS any Ford similar axle will do, Ie. F150 (9.75/8.8), mustang, exploder (if 8.8), etc, and use the same preload out of the axle your chucking it in (unless for some reason they are shimmed vastly different) or toss a lunch box locker in.
