Hi,
My 99' expedition LED blinks while driving (randomly) and it will not stay lit.
What can I do?
Can I check the for codes with a paper clip or do I need to purchase a scanner?

Thanks in advance.

you can go to any parts store...autozone, o'rielys, advanced and they will scan it for you...that is, if it is storing a code....they days of paperclips are long gone....

Flashing should mean cylinder misfire, so coil or plug. If it's not staying lit, when you go to have it scanned, don't shut it off. Mine cleared my cylinder misfire code when I shut it off.
