ABS works fine, light is on. I went to check the rear sensor and broke the bolt in the proccess. Does the black box pull apart? I was afraid to break it too haha. I just see a boot with a red and green wire inside from the line up on the body connected to a black box and then the plug that goes into the differential. 97 expedition btw.

the light is on? check your fluid. i had a blown line in the front that was leaking fluid causing the light to come on.

From your first post, when you say ABS is working fine, have you tried activating the ABS, or the brakes are working fine? Last winter, I unplugged one of the ABS connectors and the ABS light came on and the ABS did not activate (although I liked it better without ABS). It could be possible you have an open circuit somewhere or a plug that came unplugged.

I mean the ABS works when braking. Ok thanks. Theres a sensor at each wheel as well, right? I should note that the ABS light comes on as soon as the engine is started and it stays on.
